Principal's Message
Welcome to an exciting 2022-2023 School year! As Felton’s School Principal, I want to extend a warm invitation to enroll your child in our one-of-a kind school while we still have space. The teaching and learning that happens on a day to day is remarkable and truly unparalleled. We are developing caring, responsible and creative leaders in each one of our students.
Our vision is for all of our students to have resources and opportunities to successfully transition to college and career. The daily mission we work on is to have all stakeholders take ownership to provide all students with the highest quality education that excels in meeting the social emotional and academic needs of all students to be successful in the 21st century.
We offer Engineering classes to our upper grade students and we have excellent programs such as Advancement Via Individual Determination (AVID), The Leader in Me and Playworks that help develop the whole child. Our students enjoy learning in a nurturing, clean and print rich environment in which they are motivated to dream, set goals and work hard to achieve excellence.
The caring staff at Felton Elementary count with many years of experience and high credentials. We are an inclusive school who knows how to take care of each student regardless of their individual needs. Our programs are composed of professionals with knowledge of best educational practices and they model a growth mindset for our students.
