Assistant Principal's Message

Dear Felton Families,

As we embark on another exciting school year, I welcome you back to Felton Elementary for the 2024/25 academic year.  This year's theme is "Soaring to New Heights: Reflecting on Our Journey and Planning for Future Success." We’re excited to embark on this journey and aim high in everything we do.

At Felton, we believe that school should be a place where students feel happy, engaged, and a vital part of our community. To ensure our students are excited to come to school every day, we have planned a variety of fun and engaging activities throughout the year:

Monthly Spirit Weeks
We will host themed spirit weeks each month that encourage school pride and unity. These weeks will include Start with Hello, Be a Buddy, Math, and more. Participation in these spirit weeks is a fantastic way for students to express themselves and show their Felton spirit.

Perfect Attendance Challenges
We know that regular attendance is crucial for academic success. This year, we continue the Perfect Attendance Challenges to consistently motivate students to attend school. Students with perfect attendance will be celebrated with special rewards and recognition each month. Let’s work together to make every day count!

Elevating Academic Rigor

To help our students excel, we’re focusing on academic rigor. But what does that mean? Academic rigor involves challenging students to think deeply and critically, encouraging them to apply their knowledge in new and creative ways
